PBOR Membership Types
The Paulding Board of REALTORS® (PBOR) has 2 annual memberships:
REALTOR® is a federally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. Any individual that desires to become a REALTOR® member with the Paulding Board of REALTORS® will need to hold an active real estate or appraiser's license. All primary REALTORS® will automatically hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS®.
The annual renewal rate of $465 includes membership in all 3 organizations.
A Designated REALTOR® (DR) is defined as an individual that qualifies for REALTOR® membership and is also a Principal, Partner, Corporate Officer, or Branch Manager of a Real Estate firm. There is only one Designated REALTOR® per company, and he/she is responsible for paying the membership fees for all actively licensed agents within the organization.
Note for DRs: Fees must also be paid per licensed agent within the company. Paying fees on agents within an office does not automatically qualify them for membership; each agent must complete an application and fulfill all necessary requirements.
An Affiliate is an individual who does not hold an active real estate license, but has interests in the real estate profession. Affiliates also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR).
The annual renewal rate of $310 membership includes membership in 2 organizations.
Affiliate membership is included with the Paulding REALTORS® Partner Program when committing to a Gold, Platinum, or Diamond level! Before applying for Affiliate membership, visit our Partner Levels & Benefits page for more details.
In order to join the Board, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. PBOR's, GAR's and NAR's fiscal cycles are based on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.

Non-member licensees are unable to reap any Board benefits nor are able to use the REALTOR® marks in conjunction with their business. Per the dues membership requirements, the Designated REALTOR® is responsible for paying dues for all licensed agents within the organization including non-member licensees. If someone is under a non-member licensee status, this could be for a couple of reasons:
- They never submitted a membership application nor paid the application fee so they are under a non-member licensee status. The Board simply received a payment for their annual dues. The non-member licensee must simply submit a membership application and application fee to become an active REALTOR® member reaping full Board benefits.
- They did not complete their new member training requirements within the required time frame. They must reapply and repay the application fee only in order to rejoin. They will then be given another 6 months to complete the necessary training.
- They did not complete the triennial Code of Ethics training requirement within the required time frame. If the training was completed online or administered by an outside provider within the appropriate time-frame, please submit proof of completion to firstname.lastname@example.org, in order for REALTOR® status to be reinstated. If training has not been completed within the triennial cycle, then they must reapply and repay the application fee only in order for REALTOR® status to be reinstated.
A REALTOR® Emeritus is any person who has held membership in the National Association of REALTORS® as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or a combination thereof, for a cumulative period of 40 years. The REALTOR® Emeritus will also have served on a national committee for at least one year to achieve this status. Upon approval by the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS®, no further payment of dues is necessary to the local, state or national Associations. In addition to a dues waiver, REALTOR® Emeritus members are also no longer required to complete NAR’s Triennial Code of Ethics Training.
The dues waiver does not take effect until the following 'dues season'. For example, members approved as Emeritus at the NAR Mid-Year or Annual meetings in 2020 would have their dues waived starting in 2021. Upon approval, each REALTOR® Emeritus member will receive a congratulatory letter, certificate, and 40-year REALTOR® Emeritus lapel pin.
If you believe you qualified to be a REALTOR® Emeritus as defined above, please download and submit REALTOR® Emeritus application, found in the ‘Applications’ section of this page.
