Committees

Affiliate Committee

This committee promotes affiliate membership as well as fosters relationships with current affiliates ensuring that all benefits are being utilized.

Member Engagement Committee

Chair: Stacey Everson, 404-906-2266

This committee is responsible for communicating the benefits of membership to enhance the retention and involvement of each member within the Association. It is our mission to enhance participation in association events.

Community Service Committee

Chair: Penny Beam, 404-821-6505

This committee plans and organizes community service projects. It organizes and supervises special Board functions as instructed by the Board of Directors and encourages member participation in these events.

Communication Committee

Chair: Bobby Collazo, 404-769-9841

The communications committee oversees the messaging and information-sharing efforts to membership to ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication both internally and externally.

Education Committee

This committee plans and produces the education classes each year for the general membership.

Events Committee

The purpose of the Events Committee shall be to annually select the recipients of the REALTOR® of the Year and Affiliate of the Year awards. The Events Committee also plans the High Achievers Gala and the Holiday Gala each year.

Governmental Affairs and RPAC Committee

Chair: Randy Randazzo, 404-992-4915

This committee reviews legislation and recommends political action to protect the interests of REALTORS®, our industry, and our clients. It shapes the formulation of local laws and regulations through professional lobbying, grassroots advocacy, and supporting the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates for public office. This committee also raises funds and recommends disbursements for RPAC.

Young Professional Network (YPN) Committee

This committee plans YPN events and provides direction for how the YPN can best serve PBOR members.

Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative

The Paulding Board of REALTORS® is a member of the Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative established by the Georgia Association of REALTORS®. Members of the following committees are appointed by the PBOR Board of Directors at the beginning of each calendar year.

Grievance Committee

This committee reviews and investigates complaints against members as well as arbitration requests filed with the Association. When appropriate, it refers matters to the Professional Standards Committee for a hearing.

In order to participate, members must have held REALTOR® membership for a minimum of three years, attend a GAR-approved Professional Standards training seminar, and sign a confidentiality agreement.

Professional Standards Committee

This committee encourages strict adherence to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics and conducts hearings on alleged violations, commission disputes, and matters referred by the Grievance Committee or Board of Directors.

Participation requires a minimum of five years of REALTOR® membership, completion of a GAR-approved Professional Standards training seminar, and a signed confidentiality agreement.
