Your Vote Matters: Don’t Miss the June 16 Runoff Elections
June 2, 2026
The election season is not over yet. On June 16, voters in several local races across metro Atlanta will return to the polls for runoff elections. While runoff elections often receive less attention and experience lower voter turnout, these races can have a significant impact on issues that matter to the real estate industry.
The REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) encourages all eligible members to make a plan to vote on June 16. Even a small number of votes can determine the outcome of a runoff election, making every vote especially important. If you are attending the 2026 National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Meetings, you will likely need to vote by mail or vote early, since Election Day will take place during these meetings.
Forsyth County voters are also encouraged to vote for RPAC-supported candidate Adam Rodes in the upcoming runoff election for Forsyth County Commission District 1. Rodes finished first in the primary election, earning 40.9% of the vote, and will now face incumbent Kerry Hill in the runoff election.
