March Market Brief – Rome Highlights

The March 2025 housing market in Floyd County showed a mixed performance. The median sales price rose 4.6% year-over-year to $250,000, while new listings increased by 9.6%. Active listings surged 63.5%, expanding inventory.

Sales volume dropped 19.1% compared to last year, totaling $24,923,108, with units sold down 19.3% to 92. Month-over-month, sales volume increased by 15.1%, and units sold rose 31.4%. The median sales price fell by 6.7%, while new listings decreased by 14%. Active listings showed a slight growth of 0.3%.
