Important Dates For City of Cumming November General Election
The City of Cumming is holding elections for City Council on November 7, 2023. There are three council posts currently up for election designated as post 3, 4, and 5. For each post, the candidate receiving the highest number of legal votes for the office shall be declared elected. The City Charter provides for plurality vote election, not majority vote election.
Early voting will be held at the Forsyth County's Voter Registrations and Elections (1201 Sawnee Drive). The Cumming Precinct at Cumming City Hall (100 Main Street) will be open for voting from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day of Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
Cumming Voters interested in these races need to keep in mind the following deadlines:
October 10, 2023 - Deadline to register to vote or change your address for the November 7 General Election.
October 16, 2023 - Early voting begins.
October 21, 2023 AND October 28, 2023 Mandatory Saturday voting for the
November 7 General Election.
November 3, 2023 - Last day for early voting.
November 7, 2023 - Election Day
