3 Forsyth County Commission Seats Will Be On The 2024 Ballot

March 22, 2024

Qualifying for the 2024 General Election closed on Friday, March 8, 2024. The Forsyth County Commission has 3 seats up this year, districts 2, 4, and 5. Incumbents in Districts 2 and 5 will face Republican primary opponents. The winner of District 5’s primary will face a Democratic opponent in November. 

Forsyth County Commissioner Cindy Mills announced she was not running for re-election which leaves District 4 open. As of March 8th, 2 Republican candidates and 1 Democrat have filed to replace her.
