With 15 years’ experience in the Mortgage Industry, Melissa combines her mortgage skills and knowledge as a Senior Loan Officer with her Secondary Markets, Underwriting and Processing backgrounds. Eager to find the perfect solution for her clients, she works well with first time homebuyers, repeat clients, and investors alike.

When Melissa is not working, she is spending time with her husband, Brian, and two kids. They call Acworth, GA home and have been residents of Cobb County since childhood.

Dawn serves as the qualifying broker for S & S Homes Realty, holding licenses in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida, and brings over 15 years of experience to her role. After starting her real estate career in 2007, she spent five successful years in new construction sales before moving into leadership roles as a compliance broker, managing broker, and ultimately qualifying broker in 2022. In 2023, Dawn took the next step by founding S & S Homes Realty, a brokerage dedicated to supporting agents while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

When she’s not at the academy or the brokerage, Dawn enjoys running 5k and 10k races, baking, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family. Guided by her motto, “Family First,” she is a proud mom to four sons, a bonus son, a bonus daughter, and two daughters-in-law, and is affectionately known as "Grammy D" to her seven granddaughters. Dawn leads her brokerage in monthly community outreach projects and, as president of the AGL Over The Rainbow Foundation, gives back to the next generation by providing scholarships to high school seniors pursuing studies in the fine and performing arts.
