What is your annual membership year?
Paulding Board of Realtors membership year is from January 1st to
December 31st.
When are the membership fees due?
The membership dues are due on an annual basis of each year on
December 15th.
What if I join after December 31st? Do you prorate?
Yes we do prorate but only for NEW members and the membership dues
are based on the month that the NEW member joins.
If my broker doesn't join your board or is not a member of any board or
association can I join?
No, your principal broker has to be a primary member of a board or
association before you can join.
If I am a member of another board, can I join your board also?
Yes, you can join our board! Once an agent holds a primary membership
in a Realtor Association, they may then join other Realtor Associations
as a secondary member regardless if the principal broker is a member
or not.
What does primary membership mean?
Primary membership means that you are paying your National and State
dues through our board. We in turn send the dues to the appropriate
associations.
What does secondary membership mean?
Secondary membership means that you are already a primary member of
another Realtor Association and have paid National & State association
dues. Therefore, you only have to pay the local dues with your
secondary boards.
Does a secondary member receive the same benefits as a primary
member?
Yes, all members receive the same benefits?
What does affiliate membership mean?
Affiliate membership is for an individual who does not hold an active real
estate license, but has interests in the real estate profession. An affiliate
membership is granted to the first person that joins from a company,
therefore designating them as the main representative for this company.
Individuals from the same company can join as a secondary member.
